VISTA MARINA'S SPOT ON THE GLOBE

Where is Sardegna?

Sardegna is an island located off the west coast of Italy's classic boot-shaped peninsula. With a land-mass almost identical to state of New Jersey, Sardegna is formidable. Despite its size, it is often overlooked in favor of the more familiar island of Sicily (the "ball being kicked by the boot" of Italy).

The island sits right in the middle of the Mediterranean sea... making it a popular destination for anyone seeking crystal blue waters, pristine skies, dramatic coastlines, and sparkling beaches.

Surrounded by Spain, France, the northern coast of Africa, and of course the Italian mainland, Sardegna's culture is the amalgamation of a diverse variety of influences.

Where is Cagliari?

Located on the southern end of the island of Sardegna (also spelled Sardinia), Cagliari is the island's capital. Nearly half-a-million people live in this metropolitan area, ranking it among the top 20% of Italy's biggest cities.

Where is Vista Marina?

Vista Marina is found in the bustling, multicultural, Marina district of Cagliari on the Island of Sardegna. As its name implies, the district is located adjacent to the city's main harbor. The Marina district (also known as La Marina or the Marina quartiere) is one of the oldest and most revered neighborhoods in Cagliari. Due to its proximity to just about everything the city has to offer, the Marina district stays busy year-round... and is especially active in summer months.
